Bill Walker

CHAIRMAN

Bill Walker was appointed to the Little Rock Municipal Airport Commission in December 2019. 

Chairman Walker is a local business owner and public servant with a lengthy history of working to improve his community.

Walker is the owner of Premier Funeral Home and Chicken King Restaurant.

He served as Director of the Arkansas Department of Career Education, as an Arkansas Parole Board Commissioner, as an Arkansas State Senator and member of the House of Representatives as well as a Pulaski County Quorum Court Justice. Walker was National Chief Operating Officer of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference and a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Partner of airport food and beverage operator, HMSHost. 

Walker earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and also studied at Philander Smith College.
